Atlantic Region News / June 27, 2017

The Chicoutimi, QC native joined the Royal Canadian Navy in 2014 as a Naval Combat Information Operator and is excited to start her first mission. Among her reasons for joining the Canadian Armed Forces, Able Seaman Larouche wanted to meet people from across the country and visit new national and international cities.

Able Seaman Larouche is one of forty-three crew members on board HMCS GOOSE BAY. Their mission during the Great Lakes deployment is focused on community outreach and educating local communities about the Royal Canadian Navy, particularly in areas not traditionally visited by ships.

Able Seaman Larouche lives in Chicoutimi with her parents and her sister.
